Hunter's line of HunterSMART™ WiFi fans offer you the convenience of being able to control your fan and light using a traditional remote or the updated HunterSMART™ iOS app.
While connected to a 2.4G network, download and install the latest HunterSMART™ app from the App Store. Be sure to step up your Hunter account and verify your email account. Once the app installation is complete, follow these steps:
Tap the plus (+) sign to get started. Make sure all other fans are turned off in your home except for the one you want to pair. You also need to reset your Hunter remote and power cycle the fan by quickly pressing the fan and light icons on your remote.
You'll then connect to Wi-Fi via the app (Click here for information on WiFi network requirements). This may take a few minutes.
On the add accessory screen you will need to scan the HomeKit setup code, which can be found on the inside of your remote.
Once your code is recognized you will need to select the fan you want to pair. Make sure to allow the fan to connect to your WiFi network.
The fan is now paired with the HunterSMART™ and Home apps. You can now control your fan with your phone and create Scenes utilizing your HunterSMART™ fan in the Apple Home app.
