In order to reset the Wi-Fi connection of your HunterSMART™ fan, first ensure that you are on a 2.4G network for optimal performance. Next, turn your fan off for 10 seconds using the wall switch. Then turn it back on and wait for 10-15 seconds to allow module to start.
Next, for remote-control fans:
If you have a remote for your HunterSMART™ fan, remove the back cover and press and hold the “spoon looking” button on the back of the remote until you hear a long beep. If you hear a short tone sound, the remote has been unpaired and must now be paired.
For wall-controlled fans:
If you have a wall control for your HunterSMART™ fan, hold down both the fan up and fan down buttons for five seconds to reset the Wi-Fi connection.
To check if your HunterSMART™ fan’s Wi-Fi connection has been reset, go to your Wi-Fi's available networks. Your HunterSMART™ fan should be listed.
