5 Series Fans
For Hunter 5 series models 5xxxx, complete the following:
1. Turn the light off and then back on again
2. Within 3 minutes, hold down the 'Fan Off' button while pressing the light button twice on the handheld remote or wall control
3. Once the dimming feature is enabled hold down the light button to dim.
4. If not resolved, repeat the process (up to 3 times)
For remotes with the following model numbers
k626601000/k626602000; 99198/k6266-03; 99372/k6019; k5579010000
1. Turn the light off and then back on again
2. Within 3 minutes, hold down both the UP and DOWN arrows.
3. Once the dimming feature is enabled hold down the light button to dim.
4. If not resolved, repeat the process (up to 3 times)
2 Series Fans
For Hunter 2 series models 2xxxx, complete the following:
1. Turn the light off and then back on again
2. Power your fan off using the wall switch or circuit breaker
3. Remove the batteries from the handheld remote and change the Dip switches on the remote transmitter and receiver ensuring they both match. (Not all receivers have dip switches.)
4. Restore power to fan
5. Re-install batteries in remote
6. Press and release the High/3, Medium/2 and Low/1 buttons on the remote within 30 seconds. Check for that the fan and light are working properly.
