Salt air is tough on all ceiling fans. Eventually they will rust- even ours! However even in salt air environment your fan finish should last for more than 3 years. Please Contact Support if you experience any issues with rust or finish peeling.
To avoid damage to your fan finish, we recommend cleaning your fan using a lint-free cloth to prevent scratching. You can remove surface smudges or dirt and dust using a mild detergent and a slightly dampened cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or brushes, as they will damage the finish.
