Once you register the fan in the HunterSMART™ app and with your Alexa account, you can control it with voice command or through the Alexa app or Echo devices.
In the Alexa app, your fan and light will be represented by two different icons. You can tap the icons to turn your various HunterSMART™ fans on and off, dim their lights, and control the fan speed and direction.
You can control the fan via the Alexa assistant using verbal commands. Note: You need to use the name you gave your fan and light. If you need a reminder, the icons in the Alexa app display the names you gave them.
Here are a few sample voice commands to get you started:
- “Alexa, set office fan to high.”
- “Alexa, turn on office light.”
- “Alexa, increase brightness on office fan.”
- “Alexa, decrease office fan speed.”
